Are you a beginner in the Forex market? A market of this type may seem complex and daunting, but it really isn’t. Dealing in Forex is like any other type of trade: if you buy low and sell high, you can make money. To put it simply, Forex trading involves the trading of Forex market currencies.

There is no larger financial market in the world than Forex. It’s also the most liquid market on the planet, as every day, 24 hours a day, it generates currency exchanges worth trillions of dollars.

When it comes to Forex trading, the transactions that go on in this unique market aren’t like those of any other financial market, such as stocks. Forex trading isn’t limited to one central locations, since it is in operation 24/7 worldwide, starting in Sydney and ending in New York. No matter what time it is, you can make Forex trades anytime you want, anywhere you want.

It used to be that only banks and other large financial institutions were allowed to be involved in Forex trading. And the only business that were allowed to trade in it were large companies and currency dealers, and multi-national corporations. This was due to the Forex market’s very strict, large-scale financial requirements. In other words, this one-of-a-kind liquid market wasn’t open to small businesses and individual traders.

But the situation changed in the late 1990s, when Forex opened up and allowed small businesses and individual traders to participate. This was made possible by the enormous advances in communications technology. More people could enter the Forex market thanks to high-speed Internet, and now it has turned into one of the most profitable home-based businesses.

We’ll continue to examine this in Part Two of this two-part series. The following installment will review and add to all of the points made in this article. So until we return, please stay tuned.
